dude, the old 05 fsr frames are the best bighits made, after 05 they changed the design and made it heavier. the good thing about this frame is that is has a 24 on the R and 26 on the F. giving it good acceleration from the rear, but good momentum from the front. if i were you i would save up the cash (700-800) and go for a full 2nd hand DH bike. because i have made a mistake buy buying the stuff separately, and have spent MUCH more. the frame is a good light weight for a DH, and looks + feels SICK!. hopefully see you with it down patcham some time =)

thanks for the update, I went last sat and the track is ridable just a bit different at the end of the x-files.
